FPGA DEVELOPER – Space projects

Description: esc Aerospace is looking for specialists in the field of FPGA development, hardware design and hardware programming for own projects, and for customers within EU countries.


Requirements:

experience with FPGA, and VHDL
knowledge of ESA ECSS developments standards
knowledge of communication workflow in FPGA, such as TM and TC, PUS, etc.
experiences with signal processing and finite state machines
easiness in written technical expression for documentation
knowledge of formal project processes, waterfall or agile methods
knowledge of programming languages for microcontrollers, C or Ada
knowledge of EMC relation to HW designer
knowledge of MATLAB is advantage
knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python, is advantageous
fluent in English, both written and spoken

Scope of work:

prototype development, programming, testing, qualification
consultation with SCH and PCB designers,
creation and further maintenance of technical document
cooperation with colleagues, team work
fulfilling coding standards, cooperation with Product Assurance team
calculations, simulations and optimization of functional logic blocks

Location:

ESC premisses in Prague
premisses of ESC’s customers in various EU locations, either full collocation for several months, or few weeks abroad and few weeks in Prague
