Translator - Romanian (RO) or Slovakian (SVK) / English (EN)

The department International Labeling Systems within the Abbott Diagnostics Division in the Czech Republic is looking for a Romanian or Slovakian native speaker, with Translation experience (Healthcare NOT essential), to translate text from English to Romanian/Slovakian.

Key Responsibilities

● Creation and/or translation, proofreading and editing of labeling material in English and/or in native language

● Performs translations for other technical areas

● Understands the contents and elements of Abbott labeling

● Excellent use of native language to deliver high quality of technical translations for end customer use

● Good understanding of medical content to meet requirements for qualified translations for both English and native language

● Excellent understanding of required labeling processes and procedures including qualified release of final files for print

● Works with department specific software programs

● Coordination/communication with professionals within the department and other company related interfaces. Team oriented

● Intercultural awareness

Requirements

● University Degree in translation/interpretation

● Proficiency in English

● Certified PC skills

● Romanian or Slovakian native speaker

● Maintains at least 2 years of job experience, which can be gained whilst studying

● Excellent English language skills, translation and proofreading skills

• Experience in the use of translation tools and publishing software

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Demonstrate an optimistic, yet practical can-do attitude
